About the role

The effective and professional management of projects for Fujitsu on behalf of Fujitsu's clients. This role will contribute to the ongoing improvement of Project Management practice within Fujitsu and its customers and the growth and repeat business across the Project Management Practice.

  • Location: Sydney
  • Hours of work: 38 hours per week
  • Salary range: AUD $75,000 - $77,000 base per annum

Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Provide leadership and resources to establish and improve project management.
  • Meet client objectives and contractual commitment and Fujitsu internal business requirements at agreed quality standards, on time and within budget.
  • Initiate and undertake meetings with clients/customers, service delivery management, sales and other stakeholders to inform of program status & risks, and to obtain direction where necessary.
  • Provide advice to Project Managers in the development, monitoring, reporting and delivery of project deliverables.
  • Ensure project management staff are trained in project management techniques and principles.
  • Project Planning by verifying project goals and objectives.
  • Review and approve project plan, cost, and risk and establish management reserves.
  • Regularly conduct executive management reviews and provide oversight.
  • Review and approve changes affecting scope, timing, cost, and/or quality as required.
  • Monitor and analyse overall project progress and costs, identify and correct areas outside plan, identify improvements in program outcomes or management.
  • Manage the cost, quality and timeliness of outputs of third party.

Requirements and Experience

Experience

  • Proven experience in the ICT project management space.
  • Ability to manage projects at multiple levels.
  • Project Management qualification, CPPM, Prince2 or MSP Project (desirable).
  • Excellent people management skills (proactive, consultative and professional approach).
  • Dedication to providing outstanding customer service to external and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience of IT Desktop or other hardware project portfolios (desirable).
  • Fully competent in financial management.
  • Commercial awareness and understanding of contract deliverables.
  • Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and cost targets without compromising customer requirements.

  • Must be objective and have attention to detail.
