Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the implementation of complex ICT infrastructure projects within a government sector environment. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing multi-functional teams, collaborating with senior stakeholders, and delivering projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement project management methodologies (PRINCE2 or PMBOK) for ICT infrastructure projects
- Manage and monitor project progress, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence
- Lead cross-functional teams across Business Analysis, Architecture, Development, and Testing
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including Steering Committees at senior management and executive levels
- Manage vendor/supplier procurements and contracts
- Oversee financial management and forecasting, ensuring project delivery within approved budget
- Implement and manage data centre infrastructure setup and/or migration projects
- Manage networking and infrastructure implementation projects
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience
- Experience working within complex ICT environments, preferably within the government sector
- Formal project management methodology experience (PRINCE2 or PMBOK)
- Experience managing multi-functional teams and collaborating with senior stakeholders
- Extensive experience in managing networking and infrastructure implementation
- Hands-on experience in managing finance/forecast and delivering projects to approved budget
- Experience in managing data centre infrastructure setup and/or migration projects
Essential Skills:
- Strong project management and leadership skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong financial management and forecasting skills
- Experience with ICT infrastructure implementation and management
Desirable Experience:
- Government sector experience
- Experience working with Steering Committees at senior management and executive levels
