About the role

We are seeking an experienced Software Developer with minimum NV1 security clearance to be responsible for creating innovative software solutions that address complex business challenges. You will design, code, test, document, and refine programs and integration software services to meet the evolving needs of our clients. Success in this role requires strong technical skills, creativity, and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.

This role is based on-site in Adelaide and can be taken as a Contract or Permanent opportunity.

About you

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Provide and support proposal creation, contribute to costing estimates and business case generation as well as drive architectures that are resilient and robust.
  • Design, code, verify, test, document, and refine complex programs and integration software services.
  • Contribute to the selection of software development methods, tools, and techniques.
  • Apply agreed standards and tools to achieve well-engineered outcomes.
  • Participate in reviews of own work and lead reviews of colleagues' work.
  • Utilize programming languages such as Java, Python, and Bash to develop software solutions.
  • Work with product experience including, but not limited to Springboot, React, Django, Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic Search, Jenkins, NGINX, and Ansible.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver software solutions that meet client requirements.

Requirements:

  • Minimum NV1 clearance, ideally NV2 or PV
  • A background in Defence or Federal Government highly desirable
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, and Bash.
  • Experience with software development methods, tools, and techniques.
  • Knowledge of product experience including Springboot, React, Django, Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic Search, Jenkins, NGINX, and Ansible.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Relevant industry certifications such as AWS Certified Developer Associate or Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate.
