Maternity Nurse Required Kensington October Start

We are seeking an experienced, hardworking, and kind maternity nurse to support a  family following the birth of their second son, due on October 10, 2025.They  are based in Kensington and are looking for dedicated overnight support during the early months.

Role Details:

• Schedule: 7 nights per week, 14 hours per night (7:00 PM 9:00 AM)
• Commitment: 4 months
• Start Date: October 10, 2025

Responsibilities:

• Full overnight care of the newborn, including breast and/or formula feeding, burping, changing, bathing, dressing, and settling for sleep
• Maintaining a clean and organized nursery
• Organizing and managing the babies clothing, linens, and handling all baby laundry
• Sterilizing bottles and feeding equipment appropriately
• Supporting the establishment of a sustainable and healthy sleeping and feeding routine

Family Environment:

• Family of three (mother, father, and 1-year-old son), soon to be four
•  1-year-old son has his own live-in nanny who will continue to care for him exclusively
• The maternity nurses sole focus will be on the newborn

Candidate Requirements:

• Proven track record of newborn care with strong, checkable references
• Professional, warm, and highly organized
• Maintains excellent personal hygiene
• Proactive, trustworthy, and discrete
• Committed to supporting the newborns health and development throughout the placement

Recruitment Process:

• The family expect to have an initial phone or video conversation with shortlisted candidates
• An in-person meeting will follow for selected applicants
• Reference checks will be conducted with previous employers

We are looking for someone who will be a steady, knowledgeable, and positive presence during the first months of the newborns life.

-As with all our jobs you will need an enhanced (Not basic) DBS police check that is on the update system or less than a year old and first aid. You will need to be available in London in order to interview and trial with families in person. We can only consider candidates who have the right to work in the UK (share code) as we do not sponsor candidates and are unable to reply to these applicants. All candidates need to be fully checked and reference checked before being presented to clients - please be aware this will include ID checks/ police checks/ right to work in the UK/ proof of address as well as speaking with verbal referees.
