PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
The Social Media Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the company's social media strategy to enhance brand awareness, improve marketing efforts, and drive engagement across all digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies aligned with business goals
- Create, curate, and publish engaging content across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and X (Twitter)
- Monitor, respond to, and engage with followers, comments, and messages in a timely manner
- Analyze social media performance using analytics tools and provide regular reports with insights and recommendations
- Plan and execute paid social media campaigns and promotions
- Stay up to date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Marketing, HR, Sales) to ensure brand consistency
- Manage social media calendars and ensure timely delivery of content
- Handle online reputation management and escalate issues where necessary
- Support marketing campaigns and company events through social media coverage
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field
- Proven work experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices
- Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Meta Business Suite)
- Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
