  1. 1. Role Overview

The Data Quality Support Resource will provide hands-on support to the Global

Enterprise Transformation (GET) migration team by reviewing, validating, cleansing, and preparing data across Finance, Supply Chain, Technical, and Document Management objects.

This role is critical to ensuring that all data provided to the GET transformation and migration teams is clean, complete, and compliant within defined rules and structures before cut-over.

The resource will work closely with key users and project teams to identify gaps, resolve data issues, and ensure readiness for data submission cycles.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Finance Source-System Data Quality & Clearing Support
  • Populate and maintain data migration files for the GET Project.
  • Proactively identify data issues across project streams, ensuring that migration data is aligned to GET requirements before mock migration or cut-over.
  • Provide the business with support and clear guidance on corrective actions
  • Monitor closure of required clean-up tasks.
  • Support reconciliation of business datasets to ensure they are clean, accurate, and ready for migration.


Data Quality Review

Transformation Output Validation

Post-Load Verification Support (Business-Led)

After data loads, assist the business with verification activities by:

  • Preparing comparison views between source, transformed, and loaded data.
  • Highlighting discrepancies without taking accountability for business sign-off.
  • Supporting issue logging and categorization for remediation.

Engagement Model

  • Data Preparation, Transformation Support & Template Alignment Support Key Users throughout the preparation and cleansing process by: Template & Structure Validation
    • Validate that data in internal submission templates aligns with GET mapping rules, transformation logic, and cleansing requirements.
    • Identify and resolve structural, formatting, or merging issues in submission templates.
    • Review populated templates for completeness, accuracy, and logical correctness before submission.
    • Cross-check that data conforms to standards (naming, units, mandatory fields, value lists, etc.).
    • Ensure data mapping between dependent datasets is consistent (eg. AP vendor exists on the Vendor Master)
    • Assist in the transformation of business data to submission format for migration.
    • Validate transformed data produced by GET/automation tools against cleansing rules.
    • Identify discrepancies and log issues for remediation.

  • Technical Skills
    • Advanced Excel skills, including:
      • Power Query / Data Queries
      • Pivoting, merging, unpivoting datasets
      • Advanced formulas (LOOKUP functions, TEXT formulas, logic rules, LET, etc.)

  • Strong understanding of Relational Databases.
  • Experience in data migration, data quality, or master data governance.
  • Knowledge of Procurement, Finance and Operational data in ERP systems.
  • Excellent communication and ability to clearly articulate required corrections to business stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple data streams under pressure.
  • High attention to detail and structured analytical approach.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, SCM, Engineering, Document Management).
