Job Brief:


We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager to help us expand our clientele. The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth by creating & applying effective sales strategies and forging strong relationships with clients.
To excel in this role, you should be an active listener, have a compelling sales personality, and have a hunger to chase and close new business.

Responsibilities:

  • Researching, planning, and implementing new target market initiatives.
  • Creating development plans, forecasting sales targets & growth projections.
  • Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones.
  • Setting goals for the business development team and developing strategies to meet those goals.
  • Training business developers and sales colleagues & helping team members to develop their skills.
  • Preparing sales presentations & reports, and participating in sales meetings
  • Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events.
  • Leading the team to achieve the objectives.

Skills & Expertise:

  • 10 years of successful consultative selling experience in Translation & Localization or other service verticals with at least 3 years of continuous experience as a business development manager.
  • Experience in African Market (South, East & West Africa) is a must.
  • Experience in a digital advertising agency is a plus.
  • Proven experience in managing sales & business development team members.
  • Background and experience in selling large strategic deals.
  • Ability to develop sales strategies for different verticals & be able to present a cost-benefit analysis for target clients.
  • Have strong leadership skills.
  • Fluent in English
