Finance Manager / Assisant Manager - Finance Dept ( Financial Reporting )

Our client is a leading corporate bank, seeking experienced finance talent to join their growing business.

As a Finance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and efficiency of our financial reporting processes. Your expertise will play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of accounting, regulatory compliance, and financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform the daily operations of accounting and perform monthly reconciliation, including bank reconciliation and expenses payment.
• Prepare HKMA regulatory returns, bank returns and handle month-end ledger closing activities.
• Prepare comprehensive financial reports for the head office and manage the full set of monthly financial statements.
• Conduct financial analyses and generate reports to support business decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, laws, and regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and assist in year-end audits and tax filings.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned and ensure proactive communication with stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline is preferred.
• 6-8 years of relevant working experience in accounting and financial reporting, specifically within the banking sector.
• Proficiency in preparing financial statements, management accounts, and various accounting reports, utilizing advanced Excel skills.
• Good command of English and Mandarin, both spoken and written.
• A qualified accountant with CPA or ACCA full membership is highly preferred.
• Proactive, detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively in a team environment.
