Our client, a leading corporate bank in Hong Kong, is looking for high caliber candidates to join their team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare regulatory reports for the Hong Kong Monetary Authority, such as preparation/review of banking returns and financial reports and monitoring of financial compliance ratios and financial data disclosure reports.
  • Compile regulatory reports for the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission.
  • Ensure that the preparation of regulatory reports complies with the rules and regulations set by regulatory agencies.
  • Stay updated on changes in regulatory reporting requirements, conduct relevant impact analysis, and facilitate the implementation of necessary adjustments.
  • Assist in data and accounting processing for monthly and year-end financial statements.
  • Aid in automation initiatives, such as optimizing core systems, enhancing automation in regulatory reporting, and developing fund management systems.
  • Take up ad hoc projects as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Degree holder with accounting professional qualifications.
  • 5 years or more of experience in bank financial accounting and regulatory reporting.
  • Strong interpersonal communication, coordination skills, and a spirit of teamwork.
  • Ability to independently manage daily tasks and possess good analytical skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, VBA and financial modeling.
  • Good command of Chinese and English, proficient in Putonghua would be an advantage.
