Our client, a distinguished financial institution, is seeking a meticulous and dynamic Finance Manager to join their Finance Department. Reporting to the Head of Finance, this role is integral in managing financial control functions, regulatory reporting, and Management Information System (MIS) reporting, ensuring the organization meets all compliance and reporting requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, developing models for strategic decision-making.
- Conduct Monthly Business Reviews, analyze variances, and provide insights for improvement.
- Develop financial model, prepare financial analyses and projections to support management decisions.
- Assist in creating Balanced Scorecard Metrics and other performance indicators.
- Collaborate with leaders to drive business growth and operational efficiency.
- Support audits, ensure compliance, and prepare financial statements.
- Engage in system enhancements for improved financial processes.
- Maintain accurate records and assist in month-end closing and reporting.
- Manage regulatory reporting and participate in finance projects.
- Supervise finance operations, perform financial controls, and analyze KPIs.
- Stay updated on compliance requirements and support auditors.
- Aid in budgeting and liaise with internal and external audit teams.
Requirements:
- Degree holder in Accounting or related disciplines, with a minimum of 8 -12years of experience in financial institutions or Big 4 audit firms.
- CPA/ HKICPA/ ACCA qualification is an advantage.
- Proficient in financial modelling in creating financial dashboards or models using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint presentation and Power BI tools etc.
- Excellent team player who is articulate, self-motivated, and capable of working independently under tight reporting timelines.
- Meticulous with a strong ability to meet demanding deadlines.
- Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese.
