Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop and implement strategic plans for to align with the companys overall business objectives. Lead and oversee the execution of new store development, renovation projects, and related initiatives.
  • Project Management Excellence: Manage the entire project lifecycle, from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Develop and implement project management processes and methodologies to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Lead and mentor a team of cross-functional professionals, including internal and external stakeholders, to ensure seamless collaboration and project delivery. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and development within the team.
  • Budget Management and Cost Control: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring adherence to approved expenditures and reporting on actual costs. Negotiate contracts and pricing with vendors and contractors to ensure cost-effective solutions.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including landlords, utility companies, regulatory authorities, and design professionals. Communicate effectively to ensure alignment and address potential challenges.
  • Compliance and Standards: Ensure all projects comply with relevant regulations, building codes, and company standards. Maintain a high level of quality and brand consistency across all projects.
  • Technical Expertise: Possess a strong understanding of construction, design, and facilities management principles. Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices.
  • Problem Solving and Decision Making: Identify and resolve project challenges and risks effectively. Make sound decisions based on data and analysis.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Degree holder in construction, building services, architecture, project management or related disciplines
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in retail project management, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and design tools (eg. AutoCAD, Photoshop, 3D or equivalent)
  • A strategic thinker who can identify and mitigate risks, ensuring projects stay on track and deliver successful outcomes
  • A proactive and organized individual who anticipates potential challenges, prioritizes tasks effectively, and maintains a keen eye for detail to ensure seamless project delivery
