Middleton Group is seeking a Senior Engineer - Client Relationship Manager to be the primary point of contact for key clients and a driving force behind long-term business growth. In this strategic role, you'll strengthen client relationships, identify new opportunities, and ensure projects are delivered to the highest standard creating value that exceeds expectations.

What You'll Do

  • Own the Relationship: Act as the main contact for key client, managing the relationship end-to-end and ensuring every engagement meets or exceeds expectations.
  • Grow the Pipeline: Identify and secure new and repeat business, maintain an active view of client pipelines, and contribute to company revenue and profit targets.
  • Deliver Excellence: Coordinate the right internal teams for each project, mitigate risks, and ensure on-time, high-quality delivery.
  • Create Connections: Build personal networks within client organisations and open doors for other Middleton Group team members to collaborate.
  • Strategic Insight: Develop client relationship strategies, track opportunities in HubSpot, and maintain sector capability statements.

What You Bring

  • Qualifications: Bachelor of Engineering
  • Experience: 8+ years' experience in relevant industry in either technical or client facing role
  • Technical Expertise: Working knowledge of engineering design with Water and infrastructure industries.
  • Proven experience in client relationship management, account management, or business development ideally within engineering, energy, or infrastructure sectors.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to convert proposals into successful deals and deliver measurable revenue growth.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a proactive approach to stakeholder engagement and feedback gathering.
  • Organised, strategic thinker who thrives on building networks and identifying new opportunities.
