About the Opportunity
As demand for renewable energy and major infrastructure grows, so does the need for strong ecological leadership. Were looking for a Senior Ecologist to join our expanding Ecology team and play a key role in delivering high-impact projects across Australia.
This is more than a technical position. Its an opportunity to influence how biodiversity services are delivered, mentor others, and help shape the direction of a growing ecology capability within a national consultancy.

What will you be doing?
- Facilitate high-quality project delivery across your biodiversity and ecology space
- Preparing and reviewing technical reports and assessments
- Leading site inspections and managing field teams
- Driving continuous improvement in processes and service delivery
- Managing project budgets, timelines, and resourcing
- Coordinating internal teams and resources for your project
- Building strong client relationships and contributing to repeat work and growth
About You
You are a confident, experienced ecologist who thrives on responsibility and collaboration:
- Biodiversity Assessment Method (BAM) Accreditation (essential)
- Tertiary qualifications in environmental science or a related discipline
- Proven experience working independently across field, office, and remote sites
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
- A solid understanding of QA processes and technical governance
- A collaborative mindset with confidence in managing client relationships
