About the Role

The Survey Project Manager will be offered a diverse role with the ability to work on a great variety of projects whilst continuing to develop their career. Fyfes recent success on several major project tenders across South Australia and interstate has led to the opportunity to recruit additional Survey Project Managers. 

You will manage a portfolio of projects ranging from major infrastructure, to large scale private, and land development projects, across engineering, cadastral and 3D reality capture survey disciplines. 

What else will you be doing:

  • Assisting the SA Survey Manager in the allocation of appropriate resources to deliver major projects
  • Provide expert technical advice and direction to Surveyors ensuring successful delivery of projects.
  • Participate in the review, development and improvement of work systems and practices to enhance project delivery.

Skills & Experience

  • Tertiary qualifications in surveying
  • Experience in a similar role (preferred)
  • Demonstrated resilience and willingness to take on any task
  • Experience in using a wide range of survey equipment, Trimble Business Centre and 12D model (preferred)
  • Experience in the civil and construction industry
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
  • Sound understanding of appropriate Australian standards and legislation
  • Organised with high attention to detail
  • Financial reporting and business acumen
  • Ability to develop and grow relationships with clients
