Finance Manager

Our client is α well recognised leading enterprise software solution provider. We are looking for α Qualified Accountant with 5 - 8 years accounting management experience with 2 years of supervising a team would be great.

Purpose of the Role: To work within the Asia Business, providing analytical and accounting support to the Management Team. Α multi-skilled professional will be required to management and record the accounts be α business partner to the executive team. Provide back up and support to the Regional CFO. 

Responsibilities

• Ensures the accuracy of all inputs in the Financial System, monitoring outputs and taking corrective and preventative action where necessary
• Project costing and MIS related duties including inventory control
• Oversee annual budgets and monthly forecasting
• Prepare monthly reports for Local, Regional and Global stakeholders
• Compilation and submission of local tax returns in line with the country regulations and deadline
• Review and analyse margin reports, perform analytical studies regarding cost analyses and profitability
• Manages the team in Bangkok, Kolkata, Singapore and Shanghai, covering Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets managements, Journals, Payroll and Cash Management/Treasury.
• Actively manage key financial risks to the organisation
• Ensures KPIs ser are relevant and reported in α timely manner, investigating any variance and taking corrective action where required
• Recommend any changes necessary to improve the company's financial performance and financial controls.
• Works with all functions to maximise cash and minimise working capital
• Responsible in assuring that the internal controls in place are adequate and in compliance with all corporate governance requirements
• Manages the company's relationship with its Bankers, Auditors, Insurers and other third parties
• Work with internal/external auditors to ensure audit is being carried out smoothly and as agreed timetable.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CPA/CA/CMA) with 5 - 8 years minimum accounting management experience out of which at least 2 years have been supervising α team
• Thorough knowledge of accounting concepts to ensure compliance with International Standards (Accounting/Financial Reporting) and correct classification of complex projects and operating costs
• Financial and commercial management skills
• Commercial and business awareness
• Α keen eye for detail and desire to probe further into data
• Excellent communication skills and negotiation skills (both written and verbal)
• Negotiation skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships
• Ability to stick to time constraints.
