We are working with a lovely family based in Chiswick who are looking for an experienced, confident and nurturing live-out nanny to join them on a long-term basis. The family have three children: a 5-year-old girl, a 4-year-old boy and a 19-month-old girl.
From September, the eldest will be attending school full-time and has two evening extracurricular clubs each week. The middle child will attend nursery for three full days and one half day each week, while the youngest will be the nanny's main focus at home until she begins nursery for a couple of mornings a week next April.
This is a busy household, and the family are looking for someone who is genuinely confident caring for three young children, balancing their differing routines while creating a calm, happy and well-organised environment. The role requires someone energetic, proactive and capable of managing the children independently, particularly during school holidays when all three children will be at home together for longer days.
The nanny will be responsible for school and nursery drop-offs and collections, planning engaging, age-appropriate activities for the youngest child, preparing healthy meals for the children, supporting their development, and keeping on top of all nursery duties. The family are looking for someone who enjoys getting outdoors, arranging stimulating activities and providing a warm, consistent and structured approach to childcare.
Experience caring for multiple young children is essential. The ideal nanny will be calm under pressure, highly organised, confident managing busy days and genuinely enjoy the fast pace of family life. Someone flexible, positive and able to use their initiative will thrive in this role.
Longevity is incredibly important to the family. They are hoping to find a nanny who is looking for a long-term position and who will become a valued and consistent part of the children's lives for many years to come.
