A family based in Notting Hill is looking for an experienced and proactive full-time nanny to care for their three children - two boys aged 12 and 10, and their youngest daughter aged 6.

They are an active, outdoorsy family who spend time travelling, skiing, mountain climbing and enjoying nature together. They would love to find a nanny who is energetic, sporty and naturally enthusiastic about keeping up with an active lifestyle, whether that means outdoor adventures, travel, creative activities or helping the children stay engaged and structured during school holidays. Warmth, positivity, emotional intelligence and a calm, capable nature are all hugely important to them.

Their household is fully staffed with a cook and housekeeper, so the role is very child-focused. They are looking for someone highly organised and proactive who can confidently manage all areas of the children's routines and logistics, from school uniforms, sports kits and packing to keeping on top of school calendars, exams, trips and activities. Someone naturally efficient, detail-oriented, and one step ahead would thrive in this role. This will be a sole-charge role, as both parents work full-time and travel frequently for work, so they are looking for a nanny who can confidently take the lead on all child-related matters and help keep everything running smoothly.

During term time, the position offers a lighter structure throughout the school day while the children are at school. The role includes school drop-offs several mornings per week, organising the children's schedules and belongings, helping prepare for upcoming school commitments, and caring for our youngest daughter before afternoon pick-ups and after-school care. Homework support will mainly focus on our 6-year-old daughter, so experience with homework and school requirements for Years 2 and 3 is important. Their household has a strict zero gadget policy not allowing TV, Ipads or games apart from the school necessity.

During every school holiday, they travel extensively for work and family time, regularly spending time at their homes in Spain and Germany as well as skiing in Switzerland. Travel is therefore an essential part of the role, and we are looking for someone flexible and happy to work longer, fuller days during these periods while helping keep the children entertained, engaged and structured whilst away. Separate accommodation is always provided when travelling.

The family would particularly welcome German-speaking candidates, although this is not essential. A driver is needed for this position. The family have a Labrador dog in the house, so the candidate must be comfortable around dogs.
