A down-to-earth, friendly American/British family based in Parsons Green, Fulham, are looking for a nanny to join their family on a long-term basis.
They have three children: two boys aged five and three, and a baby girl of five months. The boys both attend school locally, within walking distance of home, and are lively, active and spirited. Their baby daughter is at home with Mum. She is a very happy, healthy little girl, a great sleeper and eater, meeting all her milestones and completely adored by her brothers.
Mum is currently at home while the baby is little, so this is a shared-care role. They are looking for someone who is comfortable working closely alongside Mum and genuinely enjoys a collaborative approach.
The family have previously worked with Norland nannies and value a high standard of care, warmth and professionalism. They are seeking a Norlander or a nanny of a similar calibre, someone hoping to stay with a family for years and play a key role in the children's lives.
The right person will be a genuine partner to Mum in the day-to-day parenting of all three children, offering loving, compassionate but firm guidance, and using imagination, play and consistency to help them thrive and develop. A cheerful, calm and positive presence in the home is essential.
Day to day, the role will vary and includes school pick-ups, preparing snacks and meals, keeping on top of dishes and the children's laundry, bottle feeds, settling the baby for naps and taking her out for walks. There may also be occasional light admin for Mum, such as dropping off a return while out with the baby.
Homework and learning support for the eldest is expected. He is now in Year 1, and the family would love a nanny who can confidently and gently support him with phonics, early maths and regular reading practice.
A driver is not essential, though it would be a bonus.
