Location: Wandsworth
Start Date: Ideally by December but flexible for the right person

A truly wonderful family that comes highly recommended, are looking for a nanny to replace their current and much loved Norland nanny who has been with the family for 5 and a half years. They are based a few minutes from Wandsworth common and 10 minutes form Balham tube. The family are hoping to find a warm and reliable nanny who will become a long-term part of their family life.
They have three delightful children, a 6 year old boy, a 4 year old girl, and a 17 month old little girl. The children are bright, curious, and full of personality, with strong routines already in place. The parents work in busy senior roles and are looking for a nanny who understands the logistics of their household and is organised, dependable, and proactive. They aim to never ask for anything last minute and pride themselves on mutual flexibility and respect.
The role is Monday to Friday, with one evening babysitting a week (agreed beforehand with notice). The family are open to live-in if helpful to the nanny. Driving is essential as school runs are a short ten minute drive. The nanny will have use of the family cars.
Day to day responsibilities include school and nursery runs, childrens organisation, keeping bedrooms and play spaces tidy, and preparing home cooked meals. The family have a housekeeper four days a week and occasionally bring in additional help with cooking during school holidays, allowing the nanny to focus primarily on the children.
The parents are values driven and passionate about raising their children to be kind, hardworking, and grounded. They believe in gentle boundaries, respect, and encouragement.
The family will be temporarily renting nearby while their home undergoes renovation, so the nannys routine and commute will remain the same. From September, their youngest will begin preschool for a few hours a day, allowing the nanny some quiet time for planning, batch cooking, or organising things like birthdays and activities.
The role also includes light travel, with the family occasionally taking their nanny on their holidays both within the UK and abroad.
This position would suit a confident nanny who thrives in a structured, happy household and enjoys being part of a warm, respectful family team. The area has a lovely nanny network with plenty of nannies and other professionals nearby, creating a real sense of community.
