A family are seeking an experienced and trained Early Years or Primary Teacher to join a team of educators and nannies working with an international family and their extended network of children (between 2-5). This is a unique opportunity for a teacher who loves variety, collaboration and travel, looking for a position that combines elements of classroom teaching, activity planning and educational travel.
The family run an International Nursery School, attended by their own children, younger relatives, and a wider community of local families. Whilst the nursery has permanent staff, the familys personal teachers rotate for short placements in the nursery of up to six weeks each year, working alongside a mix of international and local educators.
When the family travel internationally during the Summer, they create summer camp style programmes with 15 - 20 children filled with sports, crafts, and creative learning experiences which this role would be expected to be part of the rotation. There also may be some opportunities of other worldwide travel to other locations throughout the contract.
This is a team based role rather than one to one tutoring, and you'll collaborate with other teachers and nannies to provide engaging experiences for the children.
The ideal candidate will hold a teaching degree, someone who is confident, adaptable and creative, with a genuine enthusiasm for working collaboratively as part of a large household team. They should be comfortable travelling internationally, and bring an energetic, hands on approach to learning.
