Rota Nanny - Surrey

A family is seeking a qualified and experienced rota nanny to join their team in a one-week-on / one-week-off rotation (Wednesday changeover). This position is to complete the rota alongside another nanny, ensuring consistent care for their 20-month-old son.

A recognised childcare qualification and developmental knowledge are essential for this role. The candidate will be responsible for all nursery duties relating to the child, including supporting his ongoing development, organising activities, preparing meals, and facilitating a weekly schedule of classes such as phonics, swimming, messy play, playgroup sessions, mud club, and playdates.

This is a shared-care environment, with both parents actively involved in their childs daily life. The nanny should be intuitive, able to read the room, and comfortable stepping in or stepping back as appropriate, using quieter moments to proactively manage admin and duties.

The family travels internationally throughout the year, including trips to Dubai, Portugal, and Australia. During extended travel periods, the rota will be adapted to accommodate longer working blocks, which has historically worked very well for the nanny team. Flexibility around travel is therefore essential. A confident driver is required, as the nanny will regularly transport the child to local activities.
