A lovely family based in Wimbledon Village are looking for a proactive, warm and experienced nanny to join their family and work alongside Mum in a collaborative, shared-care role. Mum is very present in the boys' lives and loves spending time with them, often taking one child out for an activity while the nanny enjoys time caring for the other. This is very much a tag-team approach, with Mum leading many of the activities throughout the week and the nanny providing consistent, attentive care for the other child. They are looking for someone who is naturally positive, calm and confident, with the initiative to step in when needed, anticipate what needs doing and work seamlessly alongside the family.

The family have two active little boys, aged three and one. The eldest attends nursery each morning from 8:30am until 12:30pm, while the youngest is at home full-time. The role will involve supporting their individual routines and development, keeping their days running smoothly and making sure they are well cared for, happy and thriving. The family enjoy making the most of everything London has to offer and are looking for someone who shares their enthusiasm for giving children a wonderful start in life. From parks, playgroups and classes to swimming, Little Gym and music sessions, there is plenty to enjoy, although the nanny will primarily focus on caring for the child in their care while Mum spends one-to-one time with the other.

Nutrition is a real priority for the family, and they would love someone who enjoys preparing fresh, healthy and nutritious meals for the boys. Someone who takes an interest in food, introduces little ones to new flavours and ingredients, and helps foster a positive relationship with food would be a wonderful fit. Alongside this, the nanny will take care of all usual nursery duties, including preparing bags for the day, children's laundry, keeping their spaces organised and ensuring meals and snacks are ready.

The family value a nanny who is warm and reassuring but also confident in setting appropriate boundaries when needed. They appreciate someone who can read a situation, take initiative and handle things calmly and thoughtfully. Open communication is important, and they would love someone who is receptive to feedback and happy to talk things through. Building a strong, trusting and lasting relationship is important to the family, and finding the right personality fit is just as important as experience.

A driver is essential, although the nanny is welcome to use public transport for outings when appropriate. The family travel a couple of times a year, enjoying summer trips to Europe, often Italy or France, as well as either skiing or a warmer winter escape to somewhere like the Caribbean. The nanny should therefore be happy to travel with the family.

The family employ a housekeeper three days a week, alongside a property manager and handyman when required, so the focus of this position is very much on the children. There is also a friendly, working six-year-old Cocker Spaniel in the household.
