Role: Daily Nanny

Location: Mayfair, London

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm (40hrs p/week)

Salary: £80,000 - £90,000 depending on experience

A role for a highly experienced and professional nanny to join a family based in Mayfair, London. This family is seeking a nurturing, confident and discreet nanny to care for their 10 month old baby boy on a long-term basis.

The family is looking for a nanny with extensive experience, ideally over ten years, working with babies and toddlers. They would be especially pleased to consider a Norland Nanny or someone with a Montessori background. They would like a child-led approach that encourages the baby's natural development within a soft routine, always sensitive to his cues. A nanny who takes on a more teacher-like role will be well-suited to this position, planning engaging activities at home, encouraging imaginative play, and introducing him to local playgroups to support his growth and socialisation.

As this is a shared care role, the nanny must be confident, proactive, and able to work seamlessly alongside the parents and household staff while maintaining initiative and professionalism. Organisation and pride in nursery duties are essential, and the nanny will be responsible for the baby's wardrobe management, laundry, toy rotation, and general nursery upkeep. The family would also value a confident cook who can prepare healthy and balanced meals for the baby, and ideally for them as well.

Flexibility will be a key part of this position. The family travels throughout Europe during the summer and would like their nanny to accompany them. In addition, the role includes Friday evening babysitting and occasional Saturdays when required, with a weekday off in lieu. Confidentiality and discretion are essential, and the family would prefer a nanny who has prior experience working in similar households.
