Daily Nanny | Clapham

Role: Nanny, sole charge. Mandarin speaker preferred.

A family based in Clapham are seeking a caring, hands-on nanny to care for their first child on a long-term basis, starting once their maternity nurse period ends and mum begins returning to work.

The family would love a Mandarin-speaking nanny. This is a sole-charge position with the little one, and the day involves plenty of active, engaged care ideally alongside some cooking for the whole family. The family already have a weekly cleaner, however they would ideally like a nanny who would be open to also helping with light housekeeping, particularly once the baby has started nursery (however this is not a deal breaker).

The role evolves in two phases. To begin with, both parents are at work, so the nanny covers full days, Monday to Friday (mum leaves around 8am and is home by 7pm).

Once the child starts nursery, the contact hours will decrease to mornings before nursery and evenings after, therefore time in between for cooking and help around the home would be ideal.

Nursery is currently booked for 11 October 2027, four days a week, 8am to 6pm. A driver is a bonus, useful as the child gets older, but not essential as the area is commutable. No pets, and little travel expected.
