A family based in Knightsbridge are seeking a skilled and dedicated part-time nanny for their two daughters, aged 2 and 5.5. Both parents work flexibly and are hands-on, so this is very much a shared care role. The family are looking for a career nanny who takes the profession seriously and is confident across both age groups.

The eldest is at school in Knightsbridge and the youngest attends a drop-in Montessori session a short bus ride away and football lessons in Hyde Park. Everything is within walking distance or an easy bus / taxi journey, therefore a driver is not needed. The parents generally handle school drop-offs and pick-ups themselves and the family eat dinner together, so the hours rarely run beyond 6pm.

Mum is a child psychologist and splits her time between clinic and home, and Dad is around a lot but in and out for meetings. This makes it a genuinely interesting role for a nanny who wants to develop professionally working alongside a parent in the child development space, though it does mean the nanny should be comfortable with parents working from home and with shared care.

Housework is not part of the role, only general tidying up after the children. There is no laundry expected and cooking for the girls is a bonus to the family rather than a requirement. There are no pets and no travel involved.

The family are looking for someone energetic, creative and genuinely engaged, who can keep up with an energetic 5.5-year-old and a lively 2-year-old and get properly stuck into play. They are happy to wait to find the right person.
