About the job Daily Nanny | Parsons Green
Location: Parsons Green, London (SW6 4BL)
Start Date: September
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:30 am - 6/6:30 pm
Salary: £50,000
Children: G3, B2, newborn
A family based in Parsons Green are looking for a nanny to join them from September. This is a long-term position with a growing family who are expecting their third baby at the end of September. The role will primarily focus on B2, who currently attends nursery full-time but will transition to mornings only once the nanny is in place. Their eldest daughter, aged three and a half, will be starting school in September. The nanny will play a key role in supporting the children as a team, ensuring their days are happy, engaging, and well-structured.
G3 is very kind, funny, and bright - social, with a wonderfully strong imagination. She absolutely loves people showing an interest in her and thrives on a busy schedule of clubs, including ballet, gymnastics, tennis, and swimming. At home, she enjoys puzzles, drawing, creative play, dressing up, and long chats. B2 is cheeky, smiley, and very affectionate. He loves chatting, trying new things, and is completely obsessed with cars and dogs.
Both parents are relaxed, down-to-earth, and lead busy, active lifestyles. Mum runs her own business and works largely from home, with occasional travel outside of London, while Dad works from the office.
The family is looking for someone bubbly, kind, and proactive who can confidently take the lead with the children and create a calm, positive environment. Strong values around manners and kindness are important to them, alongside maintaining a good routine, as the children are all good sleepers. The candidate will be warm, fun, and engaging, someone who can make the children laugh and who will genuinely look forward to spending time with them. They would love someone who enjoys being active, is naturally engaging, and takes pride in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment.
The family are very open to the nanny suggesting new classes, activities, and clubs, as well as organising playdates, and would value someone who enjoys being proactive in this way. The position will involve typical nursery duties, including cooking for the children, children's laundry, and managing their wardrobes and toys as they grow. The nanny will also be encouraged to take the children out to local classes and activities, including visits to nearby parks, museums, and children's clubs. The family are members of Jessie's House and are happy for the nanny to arrange and attend classes.
You will be working alongside Mum to care for all three children. Most days, you will be in sole charge of one child while Mum looks after the others, and at times you may each have one or two children depending on the day. Dinner, bath, and bedtime are generally done together with Mum.
Travel may be offered but is not essential, with trips planned to Europe, Spain, and Dubai, as well as potential future skiing holidays. A driver is not required as everything is within walking distance.
The family also have a friendly cockapoo, so the nanny should be comfortable around dogs. The family have a dog walker during the week. They also employ a cleaner twice a week and will have a night nanny for 12 weeks for their newborn.
They are also happy to discuss additional benefits, such as a full membership to Jessie's House, a mobile phone, or use of a car, and are open to tailoring this to suit the right person.
