Daily Nanny | Maida Vale (West London)

Location: Maida Vale
Salary: £45,000 – £60,000 gross per annum
Hours: 8.30am – 5.00/6.00pm Monday - Friday (open to 4 days)
Start Date: ASAP (willing to wait for the right candidate)

A down-to-earth and friendly couple are seeking a kind, nurturing and proactive nanny to join their household. They are looking for someone to fit into family life and provide support.

The family have a three-year-old daughter who attends nursery Monday–Friday, 9.00am–3.00pm, and a newborn born in December 2025. The role will involve a mixture of sole charge and shared care.

Duties will include overseeing the morning routine and nursery drop-off, supporting mum with the newborn during nursery hours, preparing food and organising age-appropriate activities, nursery pick-up, and caring for the three-year-old until supper time. The eldest enjoys the outdoors, animals, nature, art and making things, and the family would love someone who can inspire her and nurture her creativity and confidence.

Both parents are very hands-on. They are open and relaxed and are simply looking for someone wonderful and warm to inspire and care for their little girls. They value the standards often associated with Norland-trained nannies, although Norland trained isn't a requirement. 

The family often go to the countryside at weekends and during the holidays. There may be occasional travel with the family, although they occasionally like to holiday as a family of four. There is a housekeeper two days a week.  

The nanny will be responsible for cooking for the children. A confident driver is essential for nursery runs, swimming and other outings.

The family would consider a nanny bringing their own child to work.

Requirements:
BA (Hons) in Early Childhood and Care
Newborn experience
Full UK driving licence
