A family in Barnes (SW13) are seeking an experienced nanny to care for their daughter, who will be approximately 12 months old at the start of the role. The ideal candidate will be Norland trained or have equivalent experience.

They are looking for someone bubbly, proactive, and organised, with strong developmental knowledge and confidence taking initiative. The family values someone who is engaging, stimulating and appreciates routine and structure, whilst creating a happy, relaxed, and enjoyable childhood environment.

This is a sole-charge position, with Mum returning to work and spending three days per week in the office. The family are looking for a nanny who can become a trusted extension of the family and confidently take initiative in creating a nurturing and happy environment for their daughter. They would love someone who feels naturally integrated into family life whilst bringing experience, knowledge, and confidence to the role.

Their daughter is active, inquisitive, and enjoys a well-established routine. The family would love to find someone who is passionate about child development and can support her growth through age-appropriate activities, classes, and outings, whilst maintaining a good balance of structure and flexibility. She currently enjoys attending various classes, which the family would like to continue, and they are excited to explore more local opportunities in Barnes, including classes at their local members' club once open, as well as potentially introducing swimming in the future.

Her current routine includes consistent naps, feeding times, play, and outings. The role will involve all usual nanny duties, including preparing healthy and diverse meals for the child, keeping nursery areas organised, planning engaging developmental activities, supporting milestones, arranging outings and social events, and maintaining routines. The family are happy for the nanny to use public transport and have access to a car if required, although driving is not essential. A driving licence would be viewed as a bonus. The family have a cockapoo at home, so the candidate must be comfortable with dogs.
