About the Project

We are looking for a Lead / Senior Level Designer to create high-quality playable environments in Unreal Engine 5 for a PvEvP fantasy game focused on exploration and close-quarters combat in the ruins of a lost civilization.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build strong gameplay layouts that support close-quarters combat, exploration, and PvEvP encounters.
  • Translate the games lore and fantasy setting into memorable and visually striking playable spaces.
  • Create and iterate on levels directly in UE5 (blockouts, gameplay flow, encounter spaces, and final layout).
  • Implement level logic, encounters, and gameplay events using Blueprint systems.
  • Work closely with art and design teams to ensure environments look compelling and play well.

Must Have

  • Strong experience building levels in Unreal Engine (UE4/UE5).
  • Proven ability to design clear gameplay flow and tactical spaces, especially for close-quarters environments.
  • Strong artistic background (environment concept art, architecture, or similar) enabling the creation of layouts that are both visually interesting and playable.
  • Solid understanding of Blueprint systems for implementing level interactions, encounters, and scripted gameplay.
  • Good understanding of level performance, scale, and environment composition.
  • Experience contributing to AAA or high-quality PC/console projects preferred.
