Job Openings Delivery Manager

About the job Delivery Manager

PlayServ is building the infrastructure layer for modern multiplayer games. We help game studios launch, scale, and operate online games through backend services, dedicated server orchestration, LiveOps tooling, and developer-friendly integrations.

We're looking for a Delivery Manager who can bring clarity, predictability, and operational excellence to a fast-moving startup environment. You will help ensure that product, engineering, infrastructure, and platform initiatives move forward efficiently while maintaining transparency across the organization.

This role requires more than traditional project management. You'll operate in an environment with evolving priorities, technical complexity, and rapid decision-making, partnering closely with engineering leaders, product teams, and company leadership.

Responsibilities:

  • Own delivery management across product, backend, SDK, infrastructure, admin panel, integrations, and AI-assisted development initiatives
  • Maintain visibility over priorities, risks, dependencies, blockers, ownership, and delivery progress
  • Build and improve lightweight delivery processes that support a startup environment without introducing unnecessary bureaucracy
  • Translate strategic business and technical objectives into actionable delivery plans
  • Support roadmap planning, release planning, sprint planning, milestone tracking, and delivery forecasting
  • Ensure delivery commitments are realistic, transparent, and aligned with team capacity
  • Identify unclear scope, missing requirements, technical dependencies, and decision gaps early
  • Facilitate effective communication between Engineering, Product, Business, and Leadership stakeholders
  • Help leadership understand project status, delivery risks, trade-offs, and capacity constraints
  • Protect team focus by clarifying priorities and reducing unnecessary context switching
  • Drive accountability while fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment
  • Maintain concise, decision-oriented reporting for executive stakeholders
  • Support cross-team integrations and coordination with external partners
  • Help ensure operational continuity during organizational changes, role transitions, and shifting priorities

What Were Looking For:

  • 6+ years of experience in Delivery Management, Project Management, Program Management, or a similar role within software development
  • Proven experience managing technically complex products such as SaaS platforms, developer tools, backend systems, cloud products, infrastructure services, or game-tech solutions
  • Experience operating in startup, scale-up, R&D, or other high-uncertainty environments
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, engineering processes, release management, and technical dependencies
  • Experience working directly with founders, CEOs, CTOs, Product Leaders, and Engineering Managers
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams of approximately 10–30 people
  • Strong stakeholder management, prioritization, and communication skills
  • Experience working with distributed teams and asynchronous collaboration
  • Upper-Intermediate or higher level of English
Nice to have
    • Technical background in Software Engineering, Backend Development, DevOps, QA Automation, or Technical Project Management
    • Experience with Unity, Unreal Engine, multiplayer systems, networking, game backend infrastructure, or SDK development
    • Understanding of cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, observability, APIs, and release management practices
    • Experience working with AI-assisted software development workflows
    • Experience preparing delivery reports for founders, investors, or executive stakeholders
    • Experience stabilizing projects during rapid growth, organizational change, restructuring, or strategic pivots

    Why join us?

      • Work on technology that powers modern multiplayer games
      • Influence delivery practices and operational maturity from an early stage
      • Collaborate directly with experienced product, engineering, and business leaders
      • High level of ownership, autonomy, and visibility across the organization
      • Fully remote work environment
      • Opportunity to solve complex organizational and technical delivery challenges at scale
      • Competitive compensation and the ability to make a meaningful impact on the company's growth
