About the job ASO Expert - Android
Job Description:
We are looking for a results-driven ASO (App Store Optimization) Expert to join our team and enhance the visibility, conversion, and downloads of our Android gaming apps. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in optimizing mobile games for the Google Play Store, along with a keen understanding of gaming audiences and market trends.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute ASO strategies specifically for Android mobile games.
Conduct in-depth keyword research and optimize game titles, descriptions, tags, and other metadata for better visibility and rankings.
Perform A/B testing on store creatives (icons, screenshots, feature graphics, and videos) to improve conversion rates.
Monitor and analyze app performance metrics, keyword rankings, competitor positioning, and user feedback to drive continuous improvements.
Collaborate with the game development, product, and marketing teams to align ASO efforts with product updates and marketing campaigns.
Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in mobile gaming, app store algorithms, and best practices.
Regularly perform competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities and benchmark performance.
Manage and optimize game listings for every new release and update.
Requirements:
2 to 3 years of proven experience in ASO, preferably within the gaming industry on Android.
Strong understanding of Google Play Store algorithms, ranking signals, and user behavior in the gaming space.
Familiarity with ASO tools such as Sensor Tower, AppTweak, Mobile Action, or similar platforms.
Hands-on experience with data analytics and tools like Google Analytics, Firebase, or App Annie.
Excellent communication skills and a team-player attitude.
Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred:
