Role Overview

We are currently building a talent pool for the position of Sales Consultant for our client's Mombasa branch.

Please note: This is not an active vacancy at the moment. However, the client frequently recruits for this role, and we are proactively identifying qualified candidates with relevant industry experience.

Candidates who meet the criteria will be considered and contacted as soon as a suitable opening becomes available.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service

• Welcome and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner
• Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate products
• Address customer inquiries, concerns, and returns effectively

Sales & Revenue Generation

• Promote and sell ceramic products to meet sales targets
• Upsell and cross-sell to maximize transaction value
• Actively engage customers to drive conversions

Product Knowledge

• Maintain strong knowledge of tiles, sanitary ware, and related products
• Stay updated on new products, features, and applications
• Educate customers to support informed purchasing decisions

Merchandising & Store Presentation

• Ensure displays are well-organized and visually appealing
• Support promotional and seasonal merchandising activities

Stock Management

• Monitor stock levels and report shortages or fast-moving items
• Participate in stock counts and inventory control processes

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with colleagues to achieve store targets
• Support team members during peak periods
• Attend training sessions and team briefings

Compliance & Standards

• Adhere to company policies and procedures
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards in-store

Requirements

• Proven experience in retail sales within the ceramics, tiles, sanitary ware, or related industry (required)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Customer-focused with a solution-oriented mindset
• Experience working in a target-driven sales environment
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail
• Professional, proactive, and positive attitude
