About the Company

Our client is a well-established distributor of motor vehicle spare parts with branches across Nairobi, Nakuru, and Mombasa. They are seeking to hire an experienced and reliable Motorcycle Rider to support the efficient delivery of spare parts, collection of documents and packages, and other company errands within Nairobi.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver motor vehicle spare parts and other packages to customers promptly and safely.
  • Collect packages, documents, cheques, and other items from customers as directed by the supervisor.
  • Ensure all customer orders and packages are delivered in good condition.
  • Obtain customer signatures on delivery notes and maintain accurate delivery records.
  • Conduct basic daily inspections of the motorcycle before use and report any mechanical issues promptly.
  • Maintain the motorcycle in a clean, presentable, and roadworthy condition.
  • Observe all traffic laws and road safety regulations.
  • Ensure the safety and security of the motorcycle, spare parts, documents, and other company property at all times.
  • Maintain a professional and courteous relationship with customers and other stakeholders.
  • Carry out other duties and errands as assigned by management.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum KCSE certificate.
  • Must have a valid motorcycle riding licence.
  • Minimum 2 years' proven experience as a motorcycle rider, preferably in deliveries, logistics, or a related role.
  • Good knowledge of Nairobi roads and routes.
  • Fluent in English and Kiswahili.
  • Good customer service and communication skills.
  • Honest, reliable, punctual, and responsible.
  • Ability to handle packages and documents with care.
  • Good knowledge of motorcycle safety and basic maintenance.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
