  • Responsible for monitoring latest proceedings in Food Ingredients and Labeling Requirements and in dealing with FDA concerning Certificate of Product Registration and Compliance to Regulatory Requirements
Working Schedule: Monday to Friday (8AM-5:30PM)

Job Description
  • Monitors recent applicable regulations on food ingredients, labeling requirements, food and packaging laws and regulations.
  • Updates concerned departments on the development and proceedings of upcoming & newly implemented food laws and regulations and FDA procedures for product registrations. 
  • Activates implementation of latest regulatory requirements. Files & registers copies of Administrative Orders (AO) Implementing rules & Regulations (IRR) and Laws (RA) related to food, ingredients packaging materials and labeling requirements.
  • Drafts application details via E-registration and reviews applicable documents to submit for initial, renewal, amendments of products manufactured by GBPI, Toll manufactured for GBPI, and imported products by GBPI.
  • Handles all transactions with FDA concerning E-registration and, inquiries, clarifications, follow ups of pending applications, compliances and deficiencies.
  • Prepare letters to FDA to answer compliances and other concerns.
  • Prepares, reviews and updates product registration status.
  • Checks labeling information on packaging and artworks being routed if complete and compliant to FDA labeling guidelines.
  • Assist Marketing Department in the application of promotional permits; Works with the Business Development team for the application of License to Operate for marketing and distribution of imported products.
  • Prepares status report of competitors' products, CPR, and LTO.
  • Attends Phil. Food Chamber membership and committee meetings and FDA regulatory seminars and trainings. Reports updates and concerns.
  • Perform all the other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of BS Food Technology, BS Chemistry, BS Nutrition or any other related course
  • With at least 3 years of experience in food regulatory; solid experience in dealing with FDA Regulatory Sector
  • Highly familiar with Food Safety, GMP and HALAL Standard Awareness and Understanding
  • Should be familiar with basic Food Laws, Regulations and Registration Guidelines
  • Proficient in computer office software tools
  • Highly organized and can handle pressure at all times 
  • Amenable to work onsite in Laguna International Industrial Park, Mamplasan, Binan, Laguna
