NYC Agency is seeking hungry, Account Executives and Senior Account Executives . These are individuals who either have entry-level or 2-3 years of prior agency experience. Client verticals include B2B, Cleantech, Energy, and Sustainability.

These roles are designed to serve as more than just admin, but as someone who performs admin duties such as reporting, media list building and copyediting; AND conducts media outreach, liaises directly with clients, and drafts press releases, pitches and other client content. These roles are best suited for someone who is a self-starter and ambitious, looking to learn from their more experienced colleagues and our established roster of clients. 


Qualifications 
• Ready to learn 
• Experience in technology, healthcare, and sustainability is a preferred but not required
• Either agency internship or direct experience preferred, office experience required 
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google (Search + G-Suite) 
• Fundamental understanding of social media use for business  
• Works well in an open, team environment 
• Shows desire to grow as a professional in the MarComm space 
• Receives feedback well 
• Well organized 
• An autonomous, self-starter 


Responsibilities 
• Reports to Account Managers and Directors 
• Supporting role on 2/3 clients to start, building to 4/5 
• Handle administrative tasks including client reporting, agenda preparation, content copyediting, media list building, and account organization. 
• Ultimately perform media relations, client communications, and draft content at the direction of Account Managers. 
• Achieve media results on behalf of clients by diligently following account management strategies. 
• Shows potential to develop strong client and media communications skills, including email correspondence, weekly/bi-monthly calls with clients, agenda preparation, in person meetings and media event staffing, and most importantly – transparent dialogue with his or her clients 
• Shows the ability to develop ideas that support client initiatives, either straightforward or outside the box, broadly including media campaign ideas, social media strategies and content.
