Position: Account Supervisor OR Senior Account Executive

ACCOUNT SUPERVISOR/SENIOR ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE - JOB DESCRIPTION 
The AS/SAE will be the senior point person for the client and internal team. A successful AS/SAE will have little guidance on day-to-day activities as he/she will be the senior leader on the account, supported by the senior management team. 

Primary responsibilities are to understand the scope and context of the integrated marketing and PR program; to implement the program with junior members of the staff; drive reporting for all campaigns; and oversee client activations to successful completion. The SAE also holds a higher level of media and influencer relationships and a proven track record of successful media and influencer campaigns. 

-Assist senior management in developing and implementing the monthly account planning and activities 
-Provide guidance to and be a mentor for the junior staff and interns 
-Secure meaningful coverage in top tier media outlets 
-Act as the entry point in the agency to account management 
-Manage projects independently, with senior leadership signing off for final review 
-Demonstrates excellent judgment and ability to solve problems, delegating work appropriately across account teams 
-Possess strong writing and editing skills. Ability to write attention-grabbing media materials, client correspondence, reporting documents, and points-of-view strategy documents 
-Ability to contribute to and develop public relations strategies and implement them with confidence 
-Drive smart, tactical execution of client programs 
-Establish strong relationships with knowledge of relevant media and blogs to generate awareness of client’s products, services, thought leadership, or activities 
-Establish successful, productive relationships with client contacts 
-Understand what success means to each client, then deliver on those results 
-Supervise support team and interns 
-Ability to manage 3- 5 accounts simultaneously 
-Add creative insight and problem-solving to all of the above on a consistent basis
