Leading B2B strategic communications agency is seeking  a seasoned and talented Head of HR, People & Culture to join their team. This role will be hybrid with 3 days in the office.

The Head of HR, People & Culture leads the day-to-day operations of the talent and human resources functions and duties, including, but not limited to, recruiting, performance evaluation, training and development, benefits administration, employee relations, DE&I and agency culture initiatives. This role is ideal for an experienced, hands-on and motivated individual who can operate at both a strategic and detailed operational level in order to execute on a wide range of company objectives, serving as a true partner to the C-suite and a significant contributor to overall agency success.

Core Responsibilities
• Recommend and implement creative HR and benefits programs to attract and retain top talent
• Oversee recruitment, interview, selection and hiring processes; manage our intern program
• Research, develop, recommend and execute creative strategies to foster the agency’s diversity, equity and inclusion goals, including implementing recruiting and hiring strategies to attract and retain employees from diverse backgrounds and oversee DE&I education and training

• Manage performance management process; recommend and implement new and improved measures for performance evaluations, career pathing, KPIs and development

• Develop trusted relationships with employees, supporting individual development and work/life needs

• Manage employee relations to ensure a loyal and engaged workforce
• Communicate company policies and provide on-going recommendations on how to improve internal processes and employee communications
• Further develop and positively influence agency’s inclusive culture and values.
• Work closely with executive team to ensure appropriate staffing plans on all accounts and reasonable account loads for team members, resulting in high levels of productivity and profitability
• Work closely with finance and operations to ensure proper administration of employee benefits, compensation, payroll, health & wellness, and safety programs
• Manage employee on/offboarding processes including new hire orientation and exit interviews
• Ensure employee files and records are maintained in accordance with legal requirements and Company policies and procedures
• Track and report on employee data (e. vacation time, payroll data and personnel files.)
• Coordinate and schedule employee training sessions

Requirements
• 15+ years well-rounded HR Generalist with extensive experience at a PR agency (preferred) or advertising/marketing agency

• Strong knowledge of and experience in all areas of HR management (Compensation, Recruiting, Employee Relations, Benefits Administration, etc.)

• General knowledge of employment laws and practices
• Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to meet aggressive deadlines and adapt in a
constantly evolving, fast-paced agency environment
• Experience with HR tools and recruiting software
• Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and understanding of its impact on the
agency’s overall success
• Collaborative, hands-on, team player skilled in organizing and prioritizing competing time
demands
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
