World leader in Real Estate is seeking a PR & Communications Manager. This individual plays a key role in stewarding and amplifying Company's presence and is responsible for ensuring authentic, strategic and consistent communications to advance brand equity and increase visibility across key stakeholder audiences.

This position will work directly with the regional PR Director to execute PR initiatives and support local leadership, brokers, professionals, and the marketing team. This will include media relations, internal and external communications, sponsorships, memberships, events, social media and advertising. The role will strategize, create and execute the following initiatives, including but not limited to:

Public Relations:
Fostering media relations
Writing press releases and announcements
Handling reporter inquiries
Scheduling, staffing and overseeing media interviews

Pitching Media:
Creating and placing expert articles and trend pieces
Researching and submitting stakeholders for industry nominations and awards
Collecting annual editorial calendars for press strategy compilation

Communications:
Creating internal and external communications
Promoting Research and quarterly reports
Sourcing event and speaking opportunities
Highlighting case studies, testimonials

Sponsorships/Memberships:
Researching sponsorships and membership opportunities for the CRE industry, economic development and relevant business organizations

Advertising:
Identifying strategic ad opportunities and ad concepts

Social Media:
Coordinating with digital team on content submission and suggested social media copy and media placement amplification

Skills, Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, journalism, business, or related field
Experience with technologies and best practices for campaigns across multiple platforms
Excellent computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Highly articulate individual with excellent written communications and presentation skills are essential
Up-to-date on the latest industry trends; with the ability to articulate trends clearly and confidently
A proven ability to lead and execute communication strategies in other organizations
Strict adherence to company philosophy/mission statement
Strong project management skills
Ability to multitask and monitor several projects and accounts daily
Ability to work well under pressure and manage time effectively
Ability to take the initiative to develop new strategies and storylines for media placement
Excellent media relations skills
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
