I have an outstanding new opportunity to work on a role focused 100% on a leading beverage brand - relationships with consumer, entertainment, marketing trade press are important. Activations focused on major sporting events.The company is seeking a Senior Account Executive to join the team, supporting product-driven comms and marketing comms for an iconic, high-end mass brand (beverage) with a variety of sports, music, CPG and lifestyle extensions/campaigns. The ideal candidate will have prior agency experience in PR/marketing, building PR strategies that meet both corporate and consumer objectives. This candidate should also possess a keen sense of culture (music, movies, entertainment, trends), in addition to having close relationships with top-tier media and influencers.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Robust media outreach with key online,
broadcast and print outlets to drive message-rich coverage supporting new
product news and marketing campaigns
• Direct liaison with brand client
during weekly calls
• Developing press strategies to support
launches and drive earned coverage results
• Manage assets needed for successful
launches (photos, video, talent Interviews etc.)
• Develop press materials (releases,
talking points for execs and press, edit and review briefing books for
exec / client, client POVs etc.)
• Mentor junior staff and work in a
collaborative, team-oriented environment
QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will possess the following knowledge, experience, and skill
set:
• 5+ years public
relations/marketing experience
• BA or BS Degree
• Experience working in a collaborative environment
• Ability to multi-task and meet
deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong consumer brand experience (food
and beverage preferable)
• Launching regional and national
campaigns
• Managing content crews to capture
still and video photography to support PR outreach and drive earned coverage
• Experience working with celebrities
and experts (interview management, media / messaging training)
• Launching new products (press tasting,
fact sheet and press material development, experience building well-rounded PR
strategies (cover off on trade and consumer)
• Experience with new and social media
strategies and campaigns is a plus
• PR material development (i.e. press
releases, talent talking points, pitches, etc.)
• Working with brands activating at the
Super Bowl, Grammys and other high-profile events a plus
• Proficient communicator, highly
organized and detail oriented, keen sense of culture (music, movies,
entertainment, trends)
