Gold City Offshoring is seeking a qualified Audit Senior (CA(SA)) with strong external audit experience and exposure to international engagements, particularly within the UK and US markets. This role offers an opportunity to work with globally recognised clients across various sectors, gaining hands-on experience with US GAAP, UK GAAP, and international accounting and auditing standards. You will operate within a dynamic, high-performing firm that prioritises technical excellence, ongoing professional development, and international collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead or assist in the planning, execution, and finalisation of audit assignments for manager or partner review.

  • Engage directly with senior client stakeholders to understand their business operations and ensure audits are executed efficiently.

  • Identify audit risks, raise concerns with managers or partners, and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.

  • Deliver high-quality working papers and reports that clearly highlight audit issues and propose potential resolutions.

  • Supervise, mentor, and support junior audit staff both onsite and remotely.

  • Monitor engagement budgets, manage timelines, and ensure deliverables meet both client expectations and internal quality standards.

  • Ensure compliance with internal audit methodologies as well as IFRS, UK GAAP, US GAAP, and other applicable financial reporting frameworks.

  • Participate in firm-wide and ad-hoc projects, contributing to operational excellence and audit innovation.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)), ACCA or CIMA with a minimum of 1 -2 year post-article audit experience.

  • Demonstrated experience managing the full audit cycle across private sector clients, preferably with US or UK-based engagements.

  • Exposure to US GAAP, UK GAAP, IFRS, and ISA.

  • Practical understanding of US or UK auditing standards and regulatory environments.

  • Proficient in using Caseware, Datasnipper, and Inflo (or equivalent audit/data analytics tools).

  • Ability to work effectively in cross-border teams and adapt to remote client service delivery.

  • Strong analytical, communication, and client relationship management skills.

  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
