Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Worker to join our clients team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to materials handling, stock management, and shipping and receiving operations. Responsibilities

• Load and unload goods using appropriate equipment such as forklifts, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times
• Manage stock levels through accurate stocking, picking, and packing of items in accordance with company procedures
• Operate warehouse management systems (WMS) and AS400 for inventory tracking and order processing
• Assist with shipping and receiving activities, ensuring timely dispatch and receipt of goods
• Handle materials efficiently, including movement within the warehouse using mechanical aids where necessary
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment by adhering to health and safety standards
• Support with basic maintenance of warehouse equipment and report any mechanical issues promptly
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational targets

Skills

• Proven experience in warehouse operations or logistics management is preferred
• Proficiency in using forklift trucks safely; relevant certifications are advantageous
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and AS400 is desirable
• Strong materials handling skills, including heavy lifting and manual dexterity
• Mechanical knowledge or experience in construction can be beneficial for equipment maintenance tasks
• Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail
• Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
• Physical fitness to perform manual tasks such as load & unload activities throughout the shift
