FLT Counterbalance Driver

Position: FLT Counterbalance Driver Company: GDSM Recruitment Ltd Contract Details: Full time GDSM Recruitment Ltd is a leading recruitment agency in the logistics and supply chain industry. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced FLT Counterbalance Driver to join our team on a full-time basis. As an FLT Counterbalance Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a forklift truck in a busy warehouse environment. Your main duties will include loading and unloading goods, moving and stacking pallets, and ensuring all products are stored correctly and safely. You will also be responsible for conducting daily checks on the forklift and reporting any maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel. The ideal candidate for this role will have a valid FLT Counterbalance license and a minimum of 2 years of experience operating a forklift in a warehouse setting. You must also have a good understanding of health and safety regulations and be able to work well in a team environment. Key Responsibilities: - Operate a forklift truck to load and unload goods - Move and stack pallets in a safe and efficient manner - Conduct daily checks on the forklift and report any maintenance issues - Ensure all products are stored correctly and safely - Follow health and safety regulations at all times - Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the warehouse - Maintain a clean and organized work area - Assist with other warehouse duties as needed Qualifications: - Valid FLT Counterbalance license - Minimum of 2 years of experience operating a forklift in a warehouse setting - Good understanding of health and safety regulations - Ability to work well in a team environment - Excellent communication skills - Strong attention to detail - Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects - Flexible with working hours and able to work overtime when needed If you are a reliable and experienced FLT Counterbalance Driver looking for a new opportunity, we would love to hear from you.
