About the job Senior Operations Manager

Our BPO and Moderation team is seeking a Senior Operations Manager Position in Thailand. Ideal candidates are excellent communicators, very responsive, and able to find efficiencies and coordinate large teams through a fast-moving environment.

Main responsibilities:

  • This position reports directly to the operations director or country manager and manages a team between 500 to 1000 moderation staff;

  • Direct and oversee day-to-day operations through effective leadership and efficient management of operations and support resources;

  • Motivate and effectively performance manage Operations Managers Provides direction, mentoring, coaching, and leadership support to all direct reports and identify any knowledge and competency gaps for training and improvement;

  • Daily communication with the client to align expectations, maintain and create effective communications across all aspects;

  • Ensure delivery of all client KPIs and targets;

  • Provide strategic direction and guidance, create consistency in performance and business process to all LOBs

  • Implement strategic changes to recruitment, employee engagement, policies and procedures to sustain performance and drive growth;

  • Ensure adequate staffing of highly skilled and qualified workforce. Identify competency gaps for training and improvement;

  • Host internal and external weekly and monthly Business reviews on a regular basis and present operational performance;

  • Keep up to date with industry developments, best practices and social events that may impact the business.

Job Requirement:

  • Have at least 5 years of experience in the same position;

  • Have 3 - 5 years of experience with managing content moderation (BPO industry) is required;

  • Have experience working with content management methods and tools;

  • Capable of building productive business relationships with clients;

  • Excellent english communication skills, both written and spoken;

  • Have experience in managing a large team size;

  • Organized, detail oriented, and responsive;

  • Ability to work well with cultures of different countries;

  • Must be located in, or willing to relocate to Bangkok, Thailand.
