Job Description

Gear Inc. Service Thailand is seeking an experienced Assistant IT Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the IT department in our BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) Company. The Assistant IT Manager will be responsible for managing a team of IT professionals and ensuring the company's IT infrastructure is efficient, reliable, and secure.

Working Location: Bangkok, Thailand

Main responsibilities:

  • Oversee the provision of IT services including network administration, security management, hardware and software support.
  • Create and execute IT policies and procedures that guarantee the dependability and security of the company's IT infrastructure. Ensure that these policies adhere to data protection laws, regulations, and the industry's best practices.
  • Manage and maintain the security systems of the organization, such as firewalls and antivirus software. Ensure that data backups and procedures for disaster recovery are established and tested regularly.
  • Collaborate with other departments to recognize IT-related necessities and offer solutions that will fulfill their requirements. Address and solve IT problems, which comprise hardware and software issues, network predicaments, and user support appeals.
  • Supervise the IT budget and vendor connections to ensure cost-effective procurement of IT equipment and services.
  • Establish a record-keeping system for computer resources and network equipment utilized by employees within the organization.
  • Prepare monthly reports and support general affairs tasks as assigned by the management.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in IT related field

  • At least 5 years experience as IT support, especially IT security in an IT service company or corporate company, supervisor experience is preferable;

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including Windows Server and Active Directory (add GearInc system as a plus);

  • Familiarity with network protocols, routing and switching;

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels;

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills;

  • Thai and English proficiency;

  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, such as GDPR, ISO 27001 and PCI DSS
