Job Title: Building Maintenance Manager

Working Location: Hanoi, Vietnam

Job Description

Were looking for a Regional Building Maintenance Manager who will manage to oversee the daily operations of several commercial properties for our offices, located in multiple countries. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of building tenants, coordinating and managing maintenance and repair activities, and liaising with vendors to ensure smooth daily building operations.

Main responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee regular building maintenance and repairs;

• Prepare and monitor maintenance budgets;

• Plan and forecast maintenance events: time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing;

• Monitor scheduled maintenance events, such as: Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, Cleaning;

• Negotiate and liaise with third-party service providers;

• Conduct regular building inspections and preparing report;

• Ensure facilities are in compliance with applicable policies, regulations, and building construction codes;

• Supervisor MEPF staff's working when building/ office under renovation;

• Manage and direct security staff and security activities;

• Prepare and carry out emergency protocols and procedures;

• Maintain a safe environment for building occupants and visitors;

• Respond to inquiries and requests by the project manager and resolving any problems or issues;

• Provide supports and guidance to a team during an incident 24/7;

• Other responsibilities duties as needed or assigned.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in English (Writing skills and Speaking skills);

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role;

• Must be knowledgeable about relevant laws, regulations, and building codes;

• Excellent technical skills in Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Firefighting (MEPF);

• Outstanding business communication skills and the ability to effectively work with stakeholders;

• Have experience in buidling construction is a strong plus;

• Having a wide network of building renovation providers/vendors is preferred;

• Excellent project management and negotiation skills;

• Good communication and customer service skills;

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills;

• Able to travel for work in APAC region.
