Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer

Gear Inc. Service is seeking an experienced Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer to oversee the day-to-day operations of the IT department in our BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) Company. The Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the company's IT infrastructure is efficient, reliable, and secure.

Working Location: Hanoi, Vietnam

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise staff of highly technical individuals that design, build, test, and deploy IT infrastructure in high availability environments.
• Help to create strategies to develop/improve services and operational processes
• Lead IT projects and effectively meet deadlines with minimum supervision
• Engage in ongoing research of emerging trends and new technologies, which may benefit the project goal of strategically implementing technology to enhance or solve project problems
• Identify architecture solutions (on-prem/hybrid/cloud) to successfully meet the strategic needs of the customer
• Conduct in-depth technical reviews of new and existing IT systems in order to identify the appropriate strategies required to bring these systems into compliance with established policy and industry guidelines
• Automate reporting processes, technical processes and data aggregation where appropriate

Other Duties:

• Mentorship/Training of junior staff

• Other duties assigned

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, IT management with IT related Certifications;
• 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure solution design and engineering with 2+ years in a technical team leadership role;
• Ability to manage technical projects based on clients requirements;
• Good knowledge of IT infrastructure design. Managing solutions and frameworks
• Good understanding of LAN/WAN networking (TCP/IP)
• Demonstrated knowledge of virtualized infrastructure

• Demonstrated knowledge of Cloud technologies

• Experience with one or more of the following security technologies: firewalls, Network Intrusion Detection Systems, Vulnerability Scanners, Virtual Private Networking, virus protection technologies, Log Management, network access control, proxy server, and data loss prevention
• Experience with Infrastructure automation (Terraform, Ansible, etc), CI/CD pipelines (GIT, Jenkins, etc), and configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, etc)
• Knowledge on regulations, requirements, guidelines, and industry standards on Information Security.

• DevOps tools

• Common enterprise software and services such as Google Suite, AD, Telephony systems, etc.
