Description of Role

  • Senior Technical Project Lead which also includes System and Network Administration.
  • Security checks and ensure that effective IT project planning and oversight is there on IT performance.
  • Provide cloud support and planning on how to manage cloud support or local teams from a work and time scale perspective also.
  • Should be able to oversee the development and maintenance of IT improvement plans.
  • Should be able to align IT budgets along with IT priorities and overall IT performance.
  • Responsible for the smooth and secure operation of an organization’s IT infrastructure, encompassing both systems and network aspects, including maintenance, troubleshooting, and security.

Key Responsibilities and scope:

Customer and IT centric:

  • Plan projects and timelines to meet client/customer objectives.

  • Plan projects and timelines to meet IT objectives from a security and compliance perspective.

  • Work with the network and server admin team to align changes, their effects and backup plans for each and every project or change that happens in the organization globally.

  • Familiarize with the global IT standards to ensure that the plans and goals are discussed within the IT teams to ensure compliance and not stay outdated.

  • Conduct regular internal meets globally within IT to ensure that the global team is aligned and can work across locations remotely.

  • Manage project plans and provide regular updates which include project progress, financial performance as well as resource management.

  • Ensure that there is compliance to standard operating procedure during any project.

  • Support the heads or leads of the IT department and teams to ensure that there are no project risks or issues and project goals are achieved.

  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify project risk or issues and devise contingency plans.

  • Resource planning in agile methodology in a shared pool of resources.

Key skills and experience

  • Experience: 20 - 25 years in IT, with a strong background in program management, systems & network administration, and IT security.
  • Certifications: Microsoft, Cisco, and ITIL.
  • Proven experience in IT project planning and execution, including setting timelines, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring progress.
  • Ability to manage multiple global IT projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in cloud support and coordination with local/global IT teams.
  • Ability to lead IT improvement initiatives and manage technical risks effectively.
  • Familiar with global IT standards, compliance practices, and adherence to SOPs.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, both internally and externally.
  • Willingness to provide hands-on technical support when needed.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes without compromising standards.
