Carbon Recycling International (CRI) is the world leader in power to methanol technology. We produce renewable methanol from carbon dioxide, hydrogen and electricity for fuel applications, greener chemicals and products. We work with partners to develop transformative projects, increasing resource efficiency and creating valuable products from waste gases and renewable energy. We design, engineer and implement methanol production plants based on our Emissions-to-Liquids (ETL) technology platform. Our solutions are environmentally friendly and do not impact the food chain or land use.


We are looking for a talented Data Analyst to join the team reporting directly to the CFO. You will be responsible for set up and management of tools and processes for financial and project data analysis.

Responsibilities:

- Preparing financial and project reports

- Organizing, collecting and analysing financial and project data for CRI

- Developing, implementing, and maintaining databases Core tasks:

- Preparing reports for executives, investors, and project teams

- Forecasting / budgeting for projects, divisions, and the company

- Identifying data sources and setting up data infrastructure

- Collecting and organising financial and project data

- Create and write processes on data collection, maintenance, and analysis

- Participate in other tasks as requested

Experience requirements:

- Experience in interpreting and creating financial models

- Experience in working in Microsoft 365 solutions and Business Central by Microsoft

(Navision) is a merit

- Relevant experience and good general knowledge of using financial software and

analytics tools

- Be familiar with basic accounting principles

- Relevant education, eg. BS in finance, economics, computer science, etc.


Skills:

- Excellent written & verbal English skills

- Good written & verbal Icelandic skills (preferred)

- Ability to self-check own work products

- Ability to work independently

- Good team working skills

- Enthusiasm for numbers and software used to process financial data
