  • Associates degree in Architecture or related field (additional experience consider in lieu of degree)
  • 3-5 years of experience in construction contract administration, field observation and related tasks
    • Will consider someone that has worked for a construction company and wants to take a step up
  • Strong background (ability to read and understand) Construction Documents, Specifications and Contracts
  • Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office and Bluebeam
  • Valid Drivers License

    Typical Duties

    • Project activities related to construction contract administration, including field observations, reports, change orders and pay requests
    • Review/distribute project submittal, coordinate and respond to RFIs
    • Conduct on-site observations, prepare and distribute reports
    • Compile, evaluate and present feedback information related to necessary changes in construction documents
    • Attend project meetings, prepare and distribute meeting minutes as required by contract
    • Coordinating the needs of the client, support staff, and outside consultants such as structural, civil, and mechanical engineers
    • Work with building and permitting officials during the permitting and construction phases of the project
    • Review contractor's project drawings, warranties and other post-construction submittals
    • Review construction change orders for contract conformance
    • Review contractor's requests for payment
    • Knowledge of construction process is required
    • Experience with construction management software
