Requirements

  • MS or Ph.D degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Chemical Engineering
  • Minimum 2 5 years of industry experience
  • Experience with commercial CFD software, preferably Fluent
  • Experience performing fluid flow and heat transfer analysis
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S for any employer without sponsorship

Desireable

  • Registered professional engineer (P.E.) or possess the ability to become registered

Typical Duties

  • Provide CFD support on projects in the consumer, medical and industrial products industries as well as processes industries
  • Keep abreast with developments in CFD software, share knowledge on CFD software enhancements
  • Participate in the development and continued improvement of CFD capabilities of the Cincinnati operation of SES
  • Work with clients to assess their objectives, develop project proposals based on client requests and discussions, perform CFD analysis for a wide array of applications and industries, recommend design improvements, document analysis findings in reports and make presentations to clients
  • Contribute to other modeling studies, such as analytical models, systems models as required
  • Work effectively within a multidisciplinary consultancy team
  • Be responsible for the content, quality, delivery and innovation of the work undertaken
  • Keep abreast with industry developments, share knowledge, and contribute to new developments in this area
  • Ensure that all deliverables are in accordance with the industry's standards and Stress own internal standards, quality processes and requirements
